Maybe not mine specifically, but surely, to many pretty heads... The Festival was packed with gorgeous women wearing beautiful hairpieces. Here's one of my favorites.
Held every spring in the astounding city of Barcelona since the early nineties, the Primavera Sound is one of the most renowned music festivals in Europe. Initially conceived as an underground festival, the concerts were at first celebrated in small venues, but after three editions the organization decided to take a long break that would result in the reborn of the event as we know it today. In my case I have to say that this year's edition and despite some management problems that I won't even bother to mention, was worth every second.
Mind you: I might have not worn one of my creations, but that doesn't mean that Hattini wasn't present at the event. The lovely lady in purple below is wearing one of my mini felt flowers.
Por cierto: que yo no llevara una de mis creaciones no quiere decir que Hattini no estuviese presente en el evento. En la foto de arriba podéis ver a una guapísima damisela con una de mis mini flores de fieltro.
Even artists seemed to understand the importance of being correctly accessorized. Below, PJ Harvey wearing a rather strange feathered fascinator. One of those things only she could pull off. Great show, by the way. It's a shame that I had to miss half of it to go see Mogwai. NOT that I regret it.
Bueno, no se me subió a la cabeza a mí per se, pero sí que pudimos disfrutar de visiones primaverales en muchas cabezas... El festival estaba plagado de lindas mujeres portando preciosas diademas y mini tocados. Este de arriba es uno de mis favoritos.
Celebrado cada primavera en la increíble ciudad de Barcelona desde principios de los noventa, el Primavera Sound es uno de los festivales de música más prestigiosos de Europa. Inicialmente concebido como un festival underground, los conciertos tenían lugar al principio en locales pequeños, pero tras tres ediciones, la organización decidió tomarse un largo descanso que resultaría en el renacimiento del evento tal y cómo lo conocemos hoy. En mi caso tengo que decir que, en esta ocasión, y pese a varios problemas de gestión que no pienso ni molestarme en mencionar, valió la pena al máximo.
Once again, and come what may, Fashion and Music seem to go hand in hand, and the Primavera Sound was like a huge runway walked by people wearing incredible outfits. Some outrageous, some appropriate and a few of them, just perfect for the occasion. Note that all the styles featured on this blog were of my liking. Now I kinda wish I had worn a Hattini.
Una vez más, y le pese a quién le pese, la moda y la música parecen ir de la mano, y el Primavera Sound se convirtió en una enorme pasarela por la que caminaban personajes luciendo las prendas más increíbles. Algunas espantosas, otras adecuadas, y unas pocas, perfectas para la ocasión. Nótese que los estilos que he escogido para el blog los escogí porque me gustaban. Casi me arrepiento de no haber llevado un Hattini yo misma.

Incluso los artistas parecieron entender la importancia de llevar los accesorios adecuados. Arriba, PJ Harvey con un extravagante tocado de plumas. Una de esas piezas que tan sólo a ella podría quedarle bien. Un concierto genial, por cierto: es una pena que tuviera que perderme la mitad para ir a ver a Mogwai. Pero NO me arrepiento en absoluto.

¿Qué? ¡Pero si es un hombre! ¡Y lleva un sombrero, no un tocado! Pero mirad justo detrás de él... ¿Veis a esa chica con la pieza gris? Pues la vi en varios conciertos. Well, let me tell you. I saw many many other beautiful pieces throughout the weekend, but unfortunately I only realized what a good idea would be to photograph them on the last day of the festival. I blame on the music that kept going to my head...
Confieso que vi otras muchas piezas que me gustaron durante el fin de semana, pero desafortunadamente se me ocurrió la idea de tomar fotos para este blog en el último minuto. Culpo a la música, que siempre se empeña en subírseme a la cabeza...
